Installation instructions

Prepare for installation

1. Ensure that your system meets all system requirements.
2. Prior to installing CodeFort, you should make sure that your Windows installation is updated with the most recent Service Packs and hot fixes.
3. Install the .NET Framework 4 Extended Profile, if not already installed.

Install CodeFort

1. The download is provided in a ZIP file. Extract this file to your hard drive, and run the included setup EXE file.
2. The installation process will take you through all the necessary steps.

Installation directory

It is currently not possible to change the folder in which CodeFort is installed. The installation folder is of the form:

    C:\Program Files\Creatix\CodeFort Free Edition

or,

    C:\Program Files\Creatix\CodeFort Professional Edition

depending on the edition you choose.
