System requirements

CodeFort requires the following system components to be installed:

Windows

CodeFort supports the following versions of Windows:

• Windows XP (SP2 or higher)
• Windows Vista
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Server 2008
• Windows 7

Your installation of Windows should be updated with the newest Service Packs, prior to installation of CodeFort and the .NET Framework.

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Extended Profile)

The Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Extended) is required for the CodeFort application to run.

Note: The installation of .NET v4 does not affect the assemblies you protect with CodeFort. If you develop applications targeted to an older version of the framework, they will still target the older version once they have been processed.

CodeFort supports assemblies built with:

• .NET 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0
• Silverlight 3.0 and 4.0
• Silverlight for Windows Phone 7
